Star plates
A star plate is a written record for one star, kept at the Littleton office. The chart uses the common name a reader would say out loud.
Each plate also states the season in which this chart mentions the star, and the phrases that stay off the plate. Fortunes and fees are typical refusals.
When a second star needs a record, it receives its own plate. Plates are not bundled for sale, and the page does not invite anyone to buy equipment.
If the lift morning is unknown, the plate remains in the unfinished group. Unfinished plates are not described as final.
This chart records stars. It does not sell a telescope, print a fee, reserve a viewing, or cast a fortune.
